Women in Pharma® is hosting the second installment of the series of discussions on "The Power of Moments: Why Certain Experiences Have Extraordinary Impact" by Chip Heath and Dan Heath. The book delves into some fascinating mysteries of experience: Why we tend to remember the best or worst moment of an experience, as well as the last moment, and forget the rest. Why "we feel most comfortable when things are certain, but we feel most alive when they're not." And why our most cherished memories are clustered into a brief period during our youth. We will key in on the ways in which "The Power of Moments" shows us how to author richer experiences in both our professional and personal lives. The first session (in March) was an overview and this second session will continue to delve into the key points made within the book.
Feel free to join even if you have not read the book, as it is sure to be an enlightening conversation. The third discussion of the series is coming in July and will be an in-person event, so be on the lookout for more information!
This discussion is brought to you by Women in Pharma® but is open to all attendees.
Registration is free but necessary to receive the Zoom link. The Zoom link will be sent on/before the afternoon of June 20th.
