Jason Treese

Jason “Jake” Treese is the VP of Cell Therapy Internal Manufacturing Quality at Bristol Myers Squibb, overseeing Quality at five network sites responsible for manufacturing the two commercialized CAR T products by BMS, as well as pipeline cell therapy products. Jake joined Celgene (now BMS) nearly four years ago and was responsible for leading the BMS’s largest CAR T facility through three successful licensure inspections during the pandemic, two of which were successfully conducted as Remote inspections. Prior to his time at Celgene/BMS, Jake has experience managing large manufacturing site Quality teams, supporting commercial and clinical CAR-T, biotech, and vaccine manufacturing. He also has over 10 years of his career in non-Quality roles, including manufacturing leadership (vaccine manufacturing) and technical leadership (Qualification/Commissioning/Validation) at such companies as Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Eisai and AstraZeneca.
