Deanna Hurum

Deanna Hurum holds a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA. After completing her postdoctoral research at Argonne National Laboratories and Northwestern University, she spent over 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry at biotech companies including 10 years at Roche/Genentech where she currently serves as Head of Control Strategy Scientists. This role includes responsibility for the analytical control system lifecycle management program, including risk-based control strategies and stability program management from late stage product development through commercial programs and related stability testing. She is accountable for the product-specific analytical scientific expertise of the biological product portfolio, including CMC support, submission authoring and review.
