Dr. Wingate is recently retired from GSK where he was Head of the Global Transformation Office for Environmental Sustainability. He was previously VP & Compliance Officer for Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain, responsible for assuring there was a robust internal control framework and effective risk management in place across the integrated manufacturing and supply chains. He has also had periods of additional responsibility for GSK Third-Party Oversight, acting as Global Risk Officer supporting the GSK Corporate Executive Team, and being GSK’s Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for European Medicines Agency on COVID-19 supply continuity matters during the 2020/21 pandemic. Dr. Wingate has been associated with GAMP since its origin with roles of increasing responsibility, chaired GAMP Council between 2000 and 2010, led the development of GAMP4 and GAMP5, and was member of the ISPE International Board of Directors between 2008-2012.
