Rafael Beerbohm

Rafael Beerbohm studied Pharmacy at University of Mainz and holds a PhD in Pharmazeutical Technology. He has 21 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and he started his career in pharmaceutical industry in Production at Boehringer Ingelheim with focus on aseptic manufacturing operations. In 2001 he took over the role as Manager in QC responsible for an analytical release and head of Microbiology. In Quality Assurance he served as Qualified Person and gained insight in Quality Systems. In his role as head of Global Process Engineering he facilitated the introduction of the FMEA tool for new product development in Development and Operations. After serving for four years as head of Quality Systems in the United States he held various other roles such as Head of Global Quality Systems and Head of Third Party Quality Management Europe. Rafael is currently head of Quality Standardization and Harmonization within the Human Pharma Supply Division. He is married and has three children and like cooking, jogging and playing Basketball.
