Deborah Smith

Deborah Smith is the Sr. Manager, Product Risk Management for Janssen Pharmaceuticals Inc. She brings 25+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, and combination product manufacturing quality compliance knowledge. In her recent role as Compliance Manager, she pioneered the inspection management strategy for the Raritan CAR-T manufacturing site accommodating on-site and virtual format inspections. Prior to her work at Janssen, Deborah held roles focused on compliance, quality assurance, and quality system processes at Ethicon in Somerville NJ, International Technidyne Corporation in Piscataway NJ, and Roche in Nutley NJ. Deborah’s career started at the U.S. FDA as a field investigator for the New Jersey district office. She holds her Bachelors degree from Rutgers University.
