Sr. Director- Strategic Talent Partnerships
Dedric Day has worked at Eli Lilly and Company for 20 years since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He has held leadership roles in engineering, operations, and technical services/manufacturing sciences in manufacturing modalities including API, Dry Products Packaging, and Device Manufacturing as well as being Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
His most recent experiences were in a global role as the Sr. Director of the Process Engineering Center as part of Eli Lilly and Company’s central engineering organization, providing strategic business improvements across all manufacturing sites within Lilly as well as resourcing subject matter experts to speed the delivery of the new manufacturing sites. In July of 2023, Dedric accepted the newly created role of Sr. Director- HR Strategic Talent Partnerships. In this role, he has responsibility for creating a talent eco-system leveraging partnerships with local high schools, key higher education organizations (Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University), and state entities associated with Indiana’s Biotech Hub activities.
Additionally, Dedric is an active member of ISPE and has served on the organizing committee for the Facilities of Future Conference for the last two years.
