Takeda California
Sarah Braet is the Head of Digital Transformation at Takeda Los Angeles and is responsible for developing the manufacturing site’s digital strategy and driving its digital transformation. Additionally, she’s an emeritus member of Takeda’s Global Millennial Advisory Board to the CEO. During her time on the board, she was actively involved in discussions on company-wide topics such as Hybrid way of working, Unleashing the power of AI and big data and the Workforce of the future.
Sarah holds a Master of Drug Development and an Advanced Master of Industrial Pharmacy, after which she gained experience in the manufacturing of Plasma Derived Therapies as a Manufacturing Science Specialist, responsible for process performance and continuous process control systems. She combined the successful development and authorization of an automated continuous manufacturing line in Belgium (FOYA23 Social Award winner) with her Executive MBA at the Vlerick Business School, after which she relocated to California where she took on the Head of Digital Transformation position for the plasma derived therapies manufacturing site there.
Sarah is known for her continuous drive and positive energy. She loves helping people to develop the (future) skills that they’ll need to succeed in their aspirations. Whether that be as part of a digital transformation journey, or as the Vice-President of the HBA Brussels chapter, she’s equally invested in empowering others to get where they deserve to be in their careers.
